Easy Footprint Reindeer Craft

FREE printable for reindeer footprint craft

Create an adorable Christmas reindeer with your toddler or baby!

This footprint reindeer craft is the perfect addition to your Christmas plans this year.

This time of year always makes me nostalgic for Christmases as a kid. Now that I have kids of my own, I want to make sure I make as many memories as we can.

Doing crafts together is something we all love. This one was so fun and my toddler loved it! He thought it was hilarious when the paint got between his toes.

It is important to me to create keepsakes with my kids when they are little. There’s something about those tiny footprints that just melts my heart.

I know this is something I will always treasure as I bring it out year after year for Christmas.

Directions:

1. Print the reindeer printable in color. Cardstock is best because it is sturdy and the paint won’t go through the paper.

2. Paint the bottom of your toddler or baby’s foot. Make sure to cover the entire foot, heel, and toes.

Tips and Tricks

-Make sure to use tempera paint because it can wash off easily and is safe for kids.

-I put my toddler in the high chair so he couldn’t run away with paint on his feet. This also made it easier to press the foot onto the paper in the correct position.

-Tell your toddler to relax their toes as you press their foot onto the paper so the toe prints come out clearly.
